Montgomeryshire Status
First recorded in 2012 at Llanymynech Rocks in the north-east of the county.

Rough grassland, field margins, waste ground and coastal areas.

Ragwort.
Lifestage data
Stem miner. Eggs laid on foodplant. 1st generation larva burrow into
stem causing it to thicken. 2nd generation feed on lower part of
stem & rootstock. Pupates in cocoon
